Include the article URL and identify the sentence, statistic, link, image, or section involved.

Describe what appears inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or incomplete and why it matters.
Provide evidence
When possible, include a current primary, official, or authoritative source.
How to submit a correction
Email contact@chipfreeschools.com with the subject line “Correction Request.” Do not send confidential student records or sensitive personal information.
How reports are reviewed
We compare the report with the article, its sources, current official information, and other reliable references. A requested correction may be accepted, partially accepted, declined, or held for further verification.
Types of changes
- Material factual correction: A meaningful error that could affect understanding or a decision.
- Routine update: A changed source, link, technology feature, policy, or public guidance item.
- Clarification: Wording is improved because the original passage was incomplete or easy to misunderstand.
- Minor edit: Grammar, spelling, formatting, accessibility, or style changes that do not alter meaning.
Update dates
A “last updated” date should reflect meaningful review or revision, not a cosmetic change made only to make content appear new.
Removal requests
We do not remove accurate editorial content merely because a person or organization dislikes it. We will consider requests involving privacy, copyright, safeguarding, legal obligations, misidentification, or clearly inaccurate information.
Response time
We aim to acknowledge clear reports within five business days. Complex or disputed matters may take longer. An acknowledgment does not mean a requested change will automatically be made.
